Historic Conversion and Ownership

Originally constructed between 1967 and 1969 as apartments, Heritage Green was converted to condominium ownership in 1986. Since then, all units have been sold, with no developer ownership retained. This transition has allowed the community to develop a strong sense of ownership and pride among residents.

Convenient and Well-Maintained Roads

The community is situated on private roads, including Farrwood Avenue, Fernview Avenue, and Edgelawn Avenue, with one building on 230 Chickering Road (Route 125). The Association manages in-house snow plowing, ensuring the roads are quickly cleared and well-maintained, often looking better than municipal roads during winter.

Heritage Green offers a range of features designed for comfortable living. The units are heated by forced hot water with natural gas, and each has individual thermostats for personalized temperature control. The first-floor units include a slider opening to a patio, while the second and third floors have balconies, providing outdoor space for all residents.

Comprehensive Utilities and Services

The common area fee at Heritage Green covers heat, hot water, gas for cooking, water, and sewer. This leaves residents responsible only for their electric bill and cable/TV services. Both Fios and Comcast are available in the community, offering flexible options for connectivity.

Community Building and Unique Floor Plans

The complex includes a community building that serves as a hub for social activities and gatherings. Notably, the building at 230 Chickering Road has electric heat and unique floor plans, with a separate budget for common area fees, making it a distinct part of the community.
